FC DELCO GOALKEEPING ACADEMY
The FC DELCO Goalkeeping Academy Winter Training segment has begun. Mike Curry, FC
DELCO Goalkeeping Coach, will conduct training for club goalkeepers on February 11, 18, March
11, 18 and 25. April sessions will be determined soon. Training sessions will be held at the Battle
of the Clouds fields in East Whiteland Township, Pennsylvania. Please refer to www.fcdelco.org
for more details. Keepers who are not members of the FC DELCO club who are looking for
training, should forward an e-mail to mckeeper@chesco.com.
EPYSA Annual Workshop
The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) non-residential State Goalkeeping
course was conducted at the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association (EPYSA) Annual
Workshop on March 3rd and 4th. Mike Curry conducted the course. Future NSCAA Goalkeeping
Level I, II and III (State, Regional and National) courses are being planned for the area later this

2006 ADIDAS ESP CAMP
Again this summer, the adidas esp (elite soccer program) camp will be held in July. The top 150
high school boys will gather for a week of training and competitive play under the "watchful" eyes
of an international coaching staff and several hundred U.S. college coaches. For more

GOALKEEPING ACADEMY ALUMNI NEWS
Congratulations to Travis Chulick (EPYSA 1987 Boys ODP) and Julie Kafka (MSYSA 1987 Girls
ODP) who were recipients of the 2005 adidas Golden Glove Award at the 2005 ODP National
Championships. Both Travis and Julie have spent some of their goalkeeping careers as members
